ZUwire Fitness was created to be an escape from the typical "gym" model. Our highly trained staff, unique programming and supportive membership base all come together to provide a fitness experience unlike anywhere else. Our foundation of functional movement principles will teach you how to walk/run without pain, press/pull with power and how all the systems in your body can work towards a common goal.
Meet the Owners
Gavin Mckee, NASM CPT
Gavin's Love for fitness, health and wellness stems from a desire to help others. Growing up on a cattle ranch in Benjamin, he is used to always offering a helping hand or two. Growing up he played both baseball and football in high school but didn't pursue anything in college; instead, he chose to move to Virginia and pursue a career in law. It was only after meeting his collegiate runner wife and discovering his own short comings in the world of fitness that he decided to pursue health instead, moving back to Utah, pursuing a degree in Exercise Science and a NASM certification. Gavin's experience and expertise have a wide range, from bodybuilding and power lifting to competition training and functional movement.

Gavin is very excited to bring ZUwire Fitness to the community of Spanish Fork, to share the knowledge of human movement and help others on their fitness journey.
Christa Groesbeck, NASM CPT
Christa's passion for fitness was born when she played volleyball in high school and spent many hours training with the team. Once high school was over, she went to Westminster College where she earned a bachelors degree in nursing. While she was in school she also taught spin classes regularly. On top of teaching spin, she loved to run and completed 2 full marathons. After college, she took a break from teaching classes to start a family. About 5 years ago, she got into CrossFit and developed a love for lifting. From there, she discovered functional training, and that has been her main focus and source of training for the last 3 years. She loves to train and teach people how to use their bodies to move properly. Christa spends her time in the gym or at the hospital where she works part-time as a labor and delivery nurse. When she is not working, she spends her time with her husband and two kids. She enjoys cooking, gardening, reading and being outdoors.
